About the Program

The Humboldt Green Business Certification Program is a voluntary, third-party certification program designed to acknowledge local businesses that reduce their facility and operations’ environmental impact while offering information and awareness to consumers about which businesses in the area demonstrate environmentally responsible behaviors. It is a completely FREE program that includes a variety of rebates for new measures along the way!

The Green Business Program is currently accepting applications for hotel/lodging, office/retail and restaurants. If you’re interested in getting your business certified, please review the checklist for your type of business and complete the program application found on the right hand side of this page.
