Seminars and Workshops

Plan It Green provides seminars and workshops relevant to local professionals involved in the field of green building, renewable energy systems, and sustainable development. Our seminars and workshops provide great networking opportunities and allows you to get the training you need without having to travel. Some of the programs provide continuing educational credits.

Past Seminars:

CAL Green Building Code: California is the first State in the nation to develop and adopt a green building code for new residential construction. 80 local contractors, designers, and building officials learned about the new code and how it will affect their practices.

QSD/QSP Stormwater Training Seminar: The State of California has new storm water management regulations. Professional training and certifications are now required. Plan It Green facilitated a three-day training seminar and test that accommodated 60 people.

Upcoming Seminars:

Stormwater Management: California’s new stormwater management regulations came into affect July 1, 2010. Any construction site over an acre in size is subject to the new regulations. After September 2, 2011, the regulations require persons that design, monitor, and report on permitted stormwater plans to have professional certifications (QSP/QSD). ENPLAN and Plan It Green have teamed up to offer the required 2 and 3 day classes in Arcata. Stay tuned for more details and to find out how to register.
